Blažíčková, Eliška ; Kalina, Kamil (advisor) ; Minařík, Jakub (referee)
This work deals with the issue of dual diagnosis, namely patients with schizophrenic disease who are addicted to drugs and their view of the anxiety process. Theoretical background research is devoted to schizophrenic disease, addictive disorders and specifics in the treatment of patients with dual diagnosis. The aim of this research was to find out how users of addictive substances with a schizophrenic circuit disorder evaluate and experience the process of their anxiety. To create the above goal, I set the main research question, concretized by three sub- questions: (1) How do drug users with schizophrenic disorders assess and experience the process of their anxiety? (1.1.) "How do drug users with schizophrenic disorders have insight into their difficulties in treatment?" (1.2.) "How the level of these difficulties changed before the end of treatment"? (1.3.) "What aspects of recovery do these patients consider important?" The research set was selected by methods of improbable purpose. The research group finally consisted of four patients, i.e. hospitalized in the Psychiatric Hospital X. Peřinová, Eliška ; Spalová, Barbora (advisor) ; Moskvina, Yuliya (referee)
My thesis is focused on exploration of the portrayal of the Velvet Revolution within Czech Cinematography. I am examining this problematic through the theory of the collective memory. In particular I am using a methodological concept developed by Irena Řehořová in her study Cultural Memory and Film: How the Image of Post-War Displacement in Czech Film Has Changed. I have chosen three films - each representing one period of time and by conducting a qualitative content analysis I am trying to identify the key means of expression that are used to represent the concept of the Velvet Revolution during each of those particular periods of time and what overall image of the Velvet Revolution creators of the movies are trying to show to their viewers. At the same time, I am focusing on the reaction of professional critics and regular viewers to check how the Czech public reacts to the representations of the Velvet revolution shown in the films. My thesis is divided into four parts. The first, Theoretical Chapter is based on the theory of the collective memory with a focus on the Czech specifics and non-documentary movie as medium of collective memory. Following is a description of the historical context of the Velvet Revolution and its today's position in the Czech public discourse. Then there is the...
Assigning teachers into classrooms in primary school
Nováková, Zuzana ; Dvořák, Dominik (advisor) ; Starý, Karel (referee)
The study is devoted to assigning teachers into classrooms at primary school. Teacher is important player in education. In general awareness is known term "good teacher by lucky chance", but different participants have different image of a good teacher. Requirements from headmaster, founder, colleagues, students and their parents are too demanding. Quality of teaching depends on preparedness and working strain of the teacher. Assigning teachers into classrooms might be one of the deciding factors of working strain. There are more possible systems of assigning teachers - looping (teacher remaining with a group of students for multiple academic years), stable-grade assignment and grade switching. The study is concerned with theoretical anchor for assigning teachers into classrooms at primary school especially for looping. There is lack of specialized literature about looping (Czech and international as well). The research indicates that there are benefits of looping and advancing a teacher from one grade level to the next along with his or her class. Another part of this study are outcomes of case study of one primary school. In this qualitative study research interviews with present and past headmaster, teachers, students and their parents were performed. Respondents talked about the advantages of...
